In my "1.0 life," my name is Yvonne, and with the birth of my daughter in 2007, I rediscovered my hobby of sewing. At first, I only sold bags, then all kinds of accessories. Later (besides my son in 2009), clothes were added, then my own patterns for them. These were so well received by fellow sewers that it eventually became what "leni pepunkt." is today...:

In November 2012, I opened "die fadenfabrik" in Kaltenkirchen – here, the colorful fabrics of the leni pepunkt. designs were available for purchase in the store. It also served as a workshop – where new patterns are created and the online shop is nurtured and maintained.

As the desire to glue together eBook patterns dwindled and the demand for paper patterns grew, we celebrated our debut with these very paper patterns at the fabric fair in Hamburg in February 2016. Since then, they have been an integral part of our work – every pattern now comes out as an eBook and as a paper pattern. You can also get these in many fabric stores across Germany.

In April 2021, we moved into our new, larger premises at Porschering 12 in Kaltenkirchen. After a short time, the retail store was closed, and we now exclusively pack your orders in our online warehouse and also offer workshops and sewing courses here.

A true fabric and DIY heaven!

Furthermore, I have had the opportunity to write 3 books on the topic of "sewing": KISSENKULT, MINI ME nähen, and ALLES JERSEY – Wohlfühlkleidung nähen in S-XXXL.
