With the strap reducer, you can, for example, use a 4 cm wide strap with a 3 cm wide carabiner. Or you can attach it to a ladder buckle or a loop to connect a bag opening that is only 3 cm wide with a 4 cm wide strap.
This way, you can finally put your desired strap on your bag without having to worry about 3 or 4 cm...
TIP: Depending on how your sewing machine transports, it is advisable to place a kitchen towel or baking paper between the machine's feed dogs and the strap reducer to protect the faux leather when sewing. The paper can be easily removed/cut out after sewing.
